According to Polish news journal Dziennik, Roger Guerreiro will be joining Dutch outfit Feyenoord Rotterdam this summer.

Extension rejected
The Legia Warsaw FC midfielder has eagerly been waiting for a move abroad since rejecting a contract extension with the capital club. With Guerreiro's contract expiring in December 2009, Legia will be keen to sell their prized player in the summer transfer window instead of letting the Brazilian-Pole go for free. The former Clube de Regatas do Flamengo player is currently estimated to be worth €3 million, but will Legia get exactly that much for their samba star? Not likely.

Big transfer price
Unfortunately, while many clubs have been indeed interested in the past - such as Bayern Munich, PSG, Ajax Amsterdam and Olympiakos, they were not so eager to pay his then transfer price listed at €5 million. Now with Guerreiro's disappointing form this season it is even more unlikely that he will land at a big club this summer. Or is there?

Dutch call
With Poland coach Leo Beenhakker working as an adviser for Feyenoord he has successfully convinced the Dutch officials to immediately purchase the 26-year-old. Feyenoord could easily wait until January to sign Guerreiro as a free agent, but instead are choosing make a summer swoop for the Pole. It is reported that Legia will be willing to part with Guerreiro for at least €300,000.
