WARSAW, Poland. Mar 7 (PAP) — The Polish Football Association (PZPN) and Unibet have suspended their cooperation on sponsoring the Polish 1. Liga.

The reason is the adoption of the new legal act on games of chance, which came into force on 1 January 2010.

LODZ, Poland. Mar 4 (PS) — Widzew Lodz officials have informed on Thursday that they have completed the signing of a 2.5-year contract with Tunisian player, Souheil Ben Radhia.

This is the second new player to join Widzew this winter, the Spanish midfielder Fernando Arriero Garcia being the first.

LODZ, Poland. Feb 23 — While on preseason training camp in Turkey Widzew Lodz defeated the youth team of FC Zenit St. Petersburg 1:0 (1:0).

The goal scored in the 33th minute of the match was by Lithuanian Mindaugas Panka.

WRONKI, Poland. Feb 20 — KKS Lech Poznan in a 2-0 victory defeated Unibet I Liga side GKP Gorzow Wielkopolski.

The friendly match was played in Wronki. Goals for the Kolejorz came from Ivan Djurdjevic and rookie Mateusz Mozdzen.
