LODZ, Poland. Mar 4 (PS) — Widzew Lodz officials have informed on Thursday that they have completed the signing of a 2.5-year contract with Tunisian player, Souheil Ben Radhia.

This is the second new player to join Widzew this winter, the Spanish midfielder Fernando Arriero Garcia being the first.

Radhia came to Widzew from the Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel. According to Widzew sports director Marek Zub the player is very experienced and respected.

"This is evident by his appointment to the national team. We assume that he will be an important reinforcement for our team, and his style of play will certainly not disappoint fans," Zub said.

The defenseman is a regular on the Tunisian national team, with his last international performance being in the African Cup of Nations.

For the 25-year-old defender Widzew will be his first European club in his career. Previously he appeared in Club Athlétique Bizertin, Esperance Tunis, and most recently in Etoile Sportive.
