LODZ, Poland. Apr 30 (PSN) - Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała took advantage of ŁKS Łódź's stumble, who lost to Ruch Radzionków to jump up to the leader position.

The Highlanders had to win with Pogoń Szczecin to be a leader of the league which they succeeded on Saturday.

It was match with high expectations, but Piotr Malinowski assured the victory for the hosts.

The Highlanders took to the lead in the 31st minute. Michal Osinski took a shot on goal in Bartosz Fabiniak, who defended, but was helpless on the rebound by Robert Demjan.

Pogoń responded before the break. Ten minutes later, Lukasz Matuszczyk crossed a free-kick into the box and Błażej Radler headed the ball straight into the goal for the draw.

In the second half the hosts at all costs seeked to prevail. They succeeded in doing just that with a second goal due to a three-way action: Demján - Cieslinski - Malinowski. The last player, a former player of Górnik Zabrze defeated Fabiniak and secured three points for Podbeskidzie.

Eight rounds before the end of the season and the Highlanders are the leaders of the league, taking the spot from ŁKS Łódź .
