Krzynówek: Lewandowski not worth 7 million

Polish international and Hannover 96 midfielder Jacek Kryznowek does not believe Robert Lewandowski is worth the money that KKS Lech Poznan is asking for him.

"With all due respect to him, but I do not think Robert Lewandowski is anywhere near worth 7 million euros" says Krzynowek.

"This has to be some big misunderstanding. If Lech truly think they can get such money for Robert then he will spend the rest of his career in the Polish league (Ekstraklasa),"

In the German Bundesliga there is starting be shown less interest in Polish born players, with only Artur Wichniarek, Jakub Błaszczykowski, Łukasz Piszczek and Jacek Krzynowek left.

According to the Pole the problem will only become worse, why so? - because Polish clubs are demanding too much for their players.

"No club will pay such money for him, especially not from the Bundesliga. If a player is rated that high in Poland, then the Germans would rather go ahead and buy a good Brazilian for 3 million."

"One, good, but not revolutionary season in the Polish league does not make any sense to ask for 7 million. Robert had his five minutes of fame. No one will pay big money for him if he does not play two good seasons. Only then he would be able to better promote himself and raise the price a bit." explains the 32-year-old to Przegląd Sportowy.

Jacek is right, Ron isent worth that much yet but he will be. Krzynowek is not worth seven milion either. Lech realy dont want to give him up expecially if Smolarek gos to Lech which I dont think will ever happen, Good for Ebi, bad for Lech.

Guys lossen up maybe he is in Lewandowski's corner and just wants the team to be realistic. You can say all you want about him he was one of the few Poles who made it abrod remember his goal agasint Real Madrid one of the best goals of that year.

Wow what a scrub. Now i lost all respect i had for him. Krzynowek should just worry about his duties as a bench warmer and not how another club does business nor should he just straight out dis a young and upcoming star. And Lewandowski is worth around 5-7 mil, because it's called an investment. Money transfers are crazy now a days, Lech should get at least 5mil and let the other team develop him, and than that team can sell him for 25mil... why should Lech sell him for mad cheap and not profit on him??

I think that Lech are going a little overboard on the pricetag. But seriously, we don't need players like krzynowek complaining about how good others are. He should worry about his career and his performance on the national team because pretty soon he will not have a spot. The realistic price tag for Robert is around 2-3 million.

He aint never lied. Especially when the team need him at the eat of the season he did nothing. 1-2.5 the most anyone would pay for him.
