POZNAN, Poland. Mar 17 (Fakt) — KKS Lech Poznan is preparing a sensational transfer. According to unofficial reports, Maciej Zurawski may soon be returning to the capital of Wielkopolska.

The striker played for the Kolejorz from 1998-2000. Now, at the end of his career he would like to return to his hometown - Poznan.

72-times capped for the Poland national team, Zurawski's contract with AC Omonia ends in June and he will be able to go to Lech for free.

A return to Poznan was already speculated two years ago, but now perhaps this may become reality.

At the time the Pole was speculated to be join Lech after leaving Celtic FC, but instead joined Greek side AEL Larissa FC.

"I would love to play at the end of a career in the colors of the Lech for Poznan fans." admitted 'Magic'.

"I began my football adventure here and it would be beautiful to end it here,"

In the event that the return of Poland's former captain to Lech does not pan out this year, this does not mean the 33-year-old will not be appearing in Poznan.

Sources say that it is possible that in October, Maciej Zurawski will play in the modernized Lech stadium - for Poland. This is where he will officially end his career as an international in a friendly against the Netherlands.
