WARSAW, Poland. Mar 18 (FN) — Legia Warsaw FC is currently in the process of preparing two big name summer club signings. Previously, Spaniards were a favorite for the capital club, now it seems the Legion has moved on to Spain's neighboring country - Portugal.

The new reported summer signings are said to be a Portuguese international, and club coach.

At the moment, Legia is making an effort so that for the new season Portuguese winger Bruno Alexandre Vilela Gama will play in Warsaw.

The 22-year-old currently plays his club football with 10th place Rio Ave in the Portuguese top league. This season he played 31 games and scored 5 goals. In his resume, he also had stints with Sporting Braga, Porto FC, and Vitoria Setubal SC.

The Portuguese is a former youth team captain of his country, and current Portugal U-21 international. He participated in the Canadian FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he became a fan favorite with the Canadian-Portuguese community - dubbing him the next Luis Figo.

Meanwhile, Vitor Oliveira, has also been linked with the capital club to lead Legia Warsaw this summer as coach.

The 56-year-old was already in negotiations with the Legion 2.5 years ago, where he flew to Poland to observe a few Ekstraklasa matches. At that same time KGHM Zaglebie Lubin had also tried to sign him.

Now, the subject of the Portuguese coming to the capital has returned. Oliveira had previously coached Vitória de Guimarães SC, Sporting Braga, and C.F. Os Belenenses. He now leads Liga de Honra club CD Trofense.

If Oliveira signs with Legia, it is positive that Gama would not be the only Portuguese joining the Legion this summer.

for sure is PO-rtugal closer to PO-land than Espana...they have maybe little bit better players, but 10 times as expensive. For me even porutgasian language sounds more polish than hispansh to polish!
