WARSAW, Poland. Mar 20 (PS) — The capital club has dispatched scouts to Africa. Why so? Legia Warsaw FC claims they are searching for the next Didier Drogba there, and that they will find him.

Of course, have they found the new Drogba yet? This is will only be known after the selected players complete tests back in Warsaw.

Legia's Director of Sport Marek Jozwiak, and the second coach of the Legion Jacek Magiera have returned from their trip in Côte d'Ivoire, where their mission was to look for young talent. According to the two, a few selected players may be soon arriving in the Polish capital.

They stayed in Abidjan from Tuesday, the largest city in the Ivory Coast where they observed many players with a dream of one day competing in European professional football, and who may be future Legionistas.

"We had an opportunity to look at 80 players who appeared in a number of test matches. All of them are from the first and second football divisions. These test matches were held at the national team ground of the Côte d'Ivoire national team." says Jozwiak.

"Some of them are even former representatives of the country's youth teams,"

Jozwiak mentions that some of the players observed most likely will get an invitation to come to the Lazienkowska.
