BIALYSTOK, Poland. Aug 16 (WP) — According to Wirtualna Polska, English Premier League outfit Aston Villa FC are apparently interested in Kamil Grosicki.

The Polish media portal states that the English side called Jagiellonia Bialystok to inquire about the players availability.

However, at the moment there is official bid for Polish winger.

"For now, all I did was just answer a phone call, but we have not received yet anything official in writing," says Cezary Kulesza, President of Jagiellonia.

"There were also calls from other various clubs, such as Aris Thessaloniki FC and lastly Aston Villa FC,"

One club who has confirmed interest is the champion of Turkey - Bursaspor.

The Turks have observed several Jagiellonia matches, but have not yet officially sent a transfer proposal. To add to this, Chievo Verona from Italy had sent a scout to watch Grosicki on Saturday in his match with PGE GKS Belchatow.

For the 22-year-old Polish winger these clubs will have to pay 500-700 thousand euros.

Aston Villa started the new season of the Barclays Premier League in great style. "The Villians" started off their campaign with a 3-0 win against West Ham.
