KRAKOW, Poland. Aug 25 (PS) — Wisla Krakow players in recent an interview with Przeglad Sportowy had a chance to to share their first impressions after practice, led by new coach Robert Maaskant.

Midfielder Lukasz Gargula noted that the training session reminded him largely that of Leo Beenhakker.

"I noticed the similarity to the training led by Leo Beenhakker. This coach also tells us that we need to refine our game, and play simple and accurate football." said the popular 'Gula.'

Since Maaskant communicates in English, some of his commands are translated by his assistant coaches, Kazimierz Moskal and Andrzej Bahr.

"It was a normal training, except that in English. Certainly, those who know the language, it is easier for them," admitted Maciej Zurawski, who has no trouble understanding coach.

Robert Maaskant, who signed a two-year contract with Wisla Krakow is determined to win the Polish Championship this season.

Just before crossing the Vistula for the role of Head Coach, he was already leading Eredivisie side NAC Breda. After receiving an offer from Krakow, he quit his job at the Dutch club.
