BIALYSTOK, Poland. Aug 29 (PS) — As announced on Sunday TV Canal + Sport reports that Jagiellonia Bialystok winger Kamil Grosicki will on Monday will join Aris Thessaloniki FC.
The 22-year-old player made a good impression on Aris coach Héctor Cúper during the recent third round of elimination matches of the UEFA Europa League.
By switching to Aris Grosicki will have the opportunity to play in UEFA Europa League. With his new team Grosicki will face off against Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Rosenborg BK in the group stages.
Coach Michael Probierz would not comment on the Information about the changing club colors of Grosicki.
Grosicki, himself replying to a Canal + Sport journalist on his move away from the Polish Ekstraklasa admitted that tomorrow we find out about a big "surprise."
It should be noted that Grosicki has already played abroad. In the spring of 2008 he played in the Swiss side FC Sion. He played eight matches and scored two goals.
