KRAKOW, Poland. Oct 29 (PSN) — A surprising change of coaching took place in the Polish Ekstraklasa on Friday.

Yuriy Shatalov has terminated his contract with Polonia Bytom and will be the new coach of Cracovia Krakow. In his place on the bench in Bytom will be former Legia Warsaw FC coach Jan Urban.

Shatalov was offered the job from Janusz Filipiak and decided to accept this offer. On Friday, he terminated his contract with the Bytom based club. Polonia quickly found a new coach, the unemployed Jan Urban.

An unusual situation for the Ukrainian-Russian coach, because for the whole week he was preparing Polonia for Saturday's match against Cracovia. Now the tables have turned and he will be coaching the team he was going to play against.

Meanwhile, the former coach of Legia is to join the Bytom team before Saturday's league encounter. Both clubs are in tough situation in the Ekstraklasa table, with Polonia Bytom sitting in 13th place with 10 points, while Cracovia in dead last with 4 points.
