POZNAN, Poland. Dec 14 (PSN) — Zsolt Korcsmar may soon be joining Lech's battle in the Ekstraklasa and Europe.

The Hungarian defender is getting closer to playing for KKS Lech Poznan.

Last season the 21-year-old was on loan from Ujpest FC Budapest to SK Brann. The Norwegians had to pay for the final transfer of 250 thousand euros, but did not want to do so, and instead only offered 150 thousand euros.

Meanwhile, according to information from Poland, Poznan are able to spend much more on such a player  - up to 300 thousand euros, which would definitely beat out the Norwegians bid for the defender.

Ujpest FC's management expects that after Christmas the club must reach a specific offer to buy the talented defender. Thus far three clubs are interested in him: KKS Lech Poznan, RSC Anderlecht and Racing Santander.

Korcsmar was part of the Hungary Squad that won the bronze medal in the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup. The central defender has yet to make his debut on the first team of Hungary.
