WROCLAW, Poland. Dec 22 (PSN) — Manchester United or Chelsea FC - one of those two teams will play against Slask Wroclaw to inaugurate the new stadium in Wroclaw.

The decision on this matter will be announced in February.

"Chelsea or Manchester United? They are on our list, but I cannot say more. The interviews have been conducted and either the beginning of the year or the latest in February, we will announce who arrive to Wroclaw to play with Slask." said Michał Janicki, director of the department of social affairs of the Municipal Office in Wrocław and counsel for the Euro.

So far, Liverpool FC was a favorite of Wroclaw, but the Reds do not hold as much publicity which the Blues and Red Devils have. And certainly not for the average fan outside Wroclaw.

Meanwhile, the hosts depend on a good match also for television viewing. The transmission is likely to be shown on Polish television channel Polsat Sport.

The match will take place in autumn next year.

At the opening of the stadium at Łazienkowska, Legia Warsaw FC played Arsenal FC. Currently, underway is a search for an attractive team for the inauguration of the PGE Arena in Gdansk. Originally it was supposed to be Juventus FC, but then new information appeared that Lechia Gdansk would face Real Madrid instead. At the moment, Lechia has yet to confirm who they will be facing.
