WARSAW, Poland. July 09 (PSN) - Eusebiusz Smolarek's drama at Polonia Warszawa continues.
Now the Polish striker has even been dropped from Polonia's Mloda Ekstraklasa team.
"A year ago, both sides were satisfied with the terms of the agreement, so I see no reason why they would change," argues Smolarek the decision.
Now, however, the club has even denied Smolarek training with the youth players. The ME team bus on it's way to training camp even ran out of space and had no room for him.
"The season has not yet started, and now I'm even not wanted on the Mloda Ekstraklasa team. Strange situation, I do not understand what was happening, but I do what the club tells me," tells Smolarek to Gazeta Wyborcza.
Polonia's board reiterated that Smolarek, if he wants to, can leave the club. However, he does not seem to be interested in this solution.
"I am an employee of Polonia, I have a valid contract. It would be very disloyal to my side if was looking for another club."
For the year playing for the Black Shirts, Eusebiusz Smolarek collects annually 400 thousand. euro.
