Rybus departs Legia for Terek

WARSAW, Poland. Feb 13 (PSN) - News regarding the transfer of Maciej Rybus to FC Terek Grozny has been confirmed.

Maciej RybusThe Legia Warsaw FC midfielder on Monday signed a 3.5-year contract with the Russian Premier League club.

The transfer was confirmed by Terek club president, Magomed Daudov and Legia's official website. Rybus is to join the new team after February 23, after the matches against Sporting Lisbon (UEFA Europa League) and Górnik Zabrze (Ekstraklasa).

"We signed a contract for 3.5 years. The 22-year-old is a leading player of the Legion, the Polish national team and was doing well in the European League matches," says his new employer Daudov.

"Our choice is not accidental, we carefully observed this player. We believe that Rybus can quickly acclimate to the team and help us. We allowed him to return back to Legia, which there are two matches to be played in the UEFA Europa League. After February 23 he will join back to our team." informs the President of Terek, quoted by the official club website.

The news of the transfer has already been confirmed by the official website of the Legion, who announced that Rybus will be able to play the two matches against Sporting Lisbon and the league encounter with Górnik Zabrze.

According to unofficial information, the amount of transfer was approximately 2.7 million euros. For Legia Warsaw this is the second major weakening of the club. In the winter break the Legion had already said goodbye to Ariel Borysiuk, who went to Kaiserslautern.
