KORAT, Thailand. Jan 23 — The Polish national team routed a 6-1 win against Singapore in their third game of the 40th FAT King's Cup 2010™ tournament in Thailand. The referee dictated as much as three penalty kicks for the white and red.

Sunny, the opposition's goaltender also helped Smuda's side, who had the ball flowing past between his hands, or either reflecting it from behind his back to goal.

The match began much better for the Bialo-czerwoni, who controlled much of the game and tried to threaten the opponent's goal as much as possible. In the 18. minute a warning shot was sent by Singapore player Yunos, which nearly scored from a distance.

In the 26. minute Smuda's team went onto the lead the game. A pass from Jacek Kielb went to the box, however, the referee found that foul play came to Poland striker Dawid Nowak during the pass, and so dictated a penalty kick for the Poles. Robert Lewandowski took the penalty to score Poland's first match goal, and end his long goal drought on the national team.

Singapore could have replied with a goal seven minutes later, but instead of shooting at the Polish goal, Ishak hit the leg of a teammate. Luckily for the Southern Asian country, their determined will lead them to score against Smuda's kadra in the 39. minute with Shi Jiayi taking a full contact shot past Sebastian Przyrowski.

Another situation for the Poles came in the 37. minute. Iwanski sent a through ball to striker Lewandowski, who found himself in a one on one with goaltender Sunny, which had the Lechite taking full advantage of the situation with another goal to his name.

Radojko Avramovic's side once again quickly responded back with a long distance shot by Isak, which was luckily blocked by Kamil Glik. Another penalty kick would come for Poland in the second half, with Legia Warsaw midfielder scoring the goal past Sunny, which had Poland leading 3:1.

It could have been 4-1 in the fifth minute of the second half, but Dawid Nowak was unable to convert after losing a duel with a one on one with the goalkeeper. In the 54. minute a cross by Iwanski was found by Marcin Robak, who was near the opposition's goal. The Widzew Lodz striker tried to fit the ball between the legs of Sunny, but did a poor job accurately and the ball flew past the crossbar.

In the 69. minute a strike outside the penalty box was decided by Piotr Brozek. The Singapore goalkeeper committed a fatal mistake in deciding to stop the shot, where he completely missed the ball between his hands and let it fall into his goal.

Wisla Krakow's Patryk Malecki would be brought into the game, only to miss the Singapore goal on a point blank shot, three meters away after receiving a pass by Marcin Robak. The Pole would later redeem himself in the 80. minute, shooting the ball at the cross bar, which rebounded off goalkeeper Sunny and would bounce past the goal line.

Poland ended the match with another penalty kick in the 87. minute, this time Tomasz Nowak taking the shot. The Polonia Bytom player made no trouble with the kick and cemented a 6-1 victory for Franciszek Smuda's kadra.

Meanwhile, Denmark defeated host's Thailand 3-0 (2-0), ending the tournament as victors for another year running. Poland took second place, ending the tournament with 6 points.
