KUFSTIEIN, Austria. June 02 (PS) — Poland in the second friendly match of their road trip ended in a 0:0 stalemate with Serbia in Austria.

Pending in the rain, the match on Wednesday evening could not impress the fans of either country.

Despite looking dangerous and highly active in the first half, the Poles seemed to miss that in the second, with along the unforgiving weather resulted in no goals scored.

Both teams created several favorable situations to score a goal, but failed to use them.

The match with Serbia is the second consecutive tie of the Polish team under coach Franciszek Smuda, in which the White and Red did not manage to score a single goal.

On Saturday, the result of Poland's last friendly match with Finland also ended 0-0, with neither side having the pleasure of scoring a much needed goal.

"We started out the match very well, and in turn made some very interesting goal situations. I am happy with the team, but only with the first half team." said coach Smuda post game.

"Second half is a different story, almost as if a different team played for us. It's a shame that the match had to be played with such horrible weather. It did not help us, and this is how it ends. A draw."

Poland will end their friendly road tour in Spain (June 6).

At least Fabianski had a decent game from the looks of things! It's just not right though that matches have to be played in such poor weather.

Poland need to score some goals, although defensively they look good.
