SZCZECIN, Poland. Aug 11 (PS) — Cameroon's star striker Samuel Eto'o scored twice in a 3-0 victory against Poland on Wednesday to defeat the hosts.

This was Poland's fourth without a win and fourth game without scoring a single goal.

Eto'o, the Cameroon captain and Inter Milan star, scored in the 30th and 52th minutes of the friendly match.

Countryman Vincent Aboubakar completing the scoring in the 85th minute to further remind the Poles of their downfall.

Despite the disappointing result, Poland showed some signs of attack but the lack of a finishing touch was the host's weak link. The rusty Polish backline did not show much confidence either, having plenty of trouble holding of the African forwards throughout the match.

Cameroon, one of the weaker sides of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, looked the more dominant side on Wednesday ousting the Bialo-czerwoni on home ground and leaving only Polish fans and the Polish Football Federation asking questions.

Borussia Dortmund's Jakub Blaszczykowski was regarded as Poland's only highlight of the match, with the tricky winger causing the most trouble for the Cameroonians. Unfortunately, with lack of offensive support he was unable to accomplish much.

Cameroon captain Samuel Eto'o, when asked at a press conference of what he knew of the Polish team answered honestly to no ones surprise.

"I do not need to know them. I do not know the names of a number players with who we have played against. This is the least important to me. Our task is to go out onto the pitch and defend the honor of Cameroon,” the Inter Milan striker said.

However, Eto'o said he remembered the last time Cameroon played in Poland.

"I was here 10 years ago. We drew 0 - 0."

The UEFA EURO 2012 co-hosts had their chances but were unable to take them, leaving captain Michal Zewlakow to reflect on a "very disappointing result".

"Maybe it wasn't as bad as in our last friendly against Spain when we lost 6-0, but this was still painful". We can't seem to find our rhythm and we let our opponents dominate the game. We had some good chances but were unable to score and if you fail to score against a team like Cameroon, sooner or later they will punish you." Zewlakow told UEFA.com.

Ok, I am seriously losing ALL hope in our national team. 4 games without a single goal, 4 games all lost. We have one of the larger populations in a continent that dominates football, yet we continually fail to play even half-decently. I love my country and that's why this makes me want to cry. It's embarrasing and I feel like soon we will be losing to countries like Nepal.
