National team back up: Pietrasiak, Kiełb and Grosicki

WARSAW, Poland. Aug 30 (PS) — After the recent 4th round of the Ekstraklasa, Poland coach Franciszek Smuda has announced news regarding player injuries and back-up call-ups.

Smuda has decided to set up call-ups for three additional players for friendlies against Ukraine and Australia who have impressed at the Ekstraklasa level lately.

The chance to perform in the white and red colors will have Dariusz Pietrasiak (Polonia Warszawa), Jacek Kielb (Lech Poznan) and Kamil Grosicki (Jagiellonia Bialystok). 

These additional are related to injuries the originally established called-up players picked up. At the training camp Arkadiusz Glowacki, Adrian Mierzejewski and Ludovic Obraniak will not appear due to injury.

"Mierzejewski attended the training camp in Grodzisk Wielkopolski, but the medical staff decided that his rehabilitation from his club is not yet finished. Obraniak in turn will not be flying to Poland." PZPN Football Association spokeswoman Agnieszka Olejkowska explained.
