WARSAW, Poland. Sept 7 (PS) — During the camp in the United States and Canada (5-12 October), the Polish national team will face off the United States and Ecuador in friendly matches.

The Polish team last played the South American international side in the FIFA World Cup in 2006.

The match with the U.S. will be on the 9th of October in Chicago, and Ecuador on October 12 played in Toronto.

Previously, it was reported that the Polish team would play with Mexico but the Polish FA have backed out for an easier opposition.

Poland last played Ecuador in their opening game of the 2006 FIFA World in Germany where they lost 2-0, which was considered by many as a national embarrassment.

Following these matches, on November 17th the kadra will play a match against Ivory Coast in Poznan.
