WARSAW, Poland. Oct 20 (PSN) — Poland in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking have fallen by a further three positions and occupy 69th place.

This is the worst ranking the Poles have held since the introduction of the FIFA ranking system in 1993.

Previously, the lowest ranking held in the history of white and red was quoted in the previous rankings in September. Then they beat the record from March 1998, when Poland occupied 61st place. In the last month Franciszek Smuda's team tied the United States 2-2 and Ecuador also scheduled below 2:2.

In the recent ranking, ahead of Poland are among others Panama, Armenia and Benin, and Ecuador.

The White and red have not won their last eight games (five draws and three defeats), which is the worst series of Poland in the last ten years. It will not be easy for them to discontinue it at the next match on 17th November in Poznan where they will face the Ivory Coast (In 19th place).

Promoted to the top ten are Croatia and Russia (the latter moved up 15 positions), taking the place of Egypt and Chile. Other country's that rose in rankings also include France (27th to 18th) and Montenegro (from 40th to 26th).
