Majewski also on Smuda's blacklist?

WARSAW, Poland. Nov 5 (PSN) — Not only Artur Boruc and Michal Zewlakow may prove to not be the only players losing out from the North American tour from October.

Another may be Radoslaw Majewski.

"Such players Poland does not need," Franciszek Smuda adamantly says. What is the reason for such a decision of coach?

After returning from overseas the Nottingham Forest FC player spoke loudly about his dissatisfaction with the fact that he only played 18 minutes against Ecuador, and did not play against the United States at all.

"If that for him is not enough, than Poland does not need him. If I were to put on the shirt with the eagle over my chest even only for a second, I'd gladly ride a bike to Montreal only for that chance." Smuda explains.

However, fans can understand a player who lost more than 10 days of training at his club, where he has to fight hard for a place in first team. His dissatisfaction can also be explained by his ambition and aspirations. If Smuda does close the doors for him towards the national team, that decision may be highly controversial.

It may, however, is it only an excuse? In an interview for sports channel nSport, Artur Boruc recently revealed that Smuda does not manifest sympathy for the Nottingham Forest midfielder.

"Every time you looked at him the coach would start yelling obscene words, pleas, derogative remarks." said Boruc.

So far, all three players (Majewski, Boruc and Zewlakow) are not found in the national team call-ups for the next match with Ivory Coast.

The bottom line is that Smuda doesn't seem to have the respect of his players and that is a very dangerous situation. He needs to learn to calm down and not be so easily agitated.

Guys, let's be fair. Majewski was after all one of the 'booze brothers' along with Dudka and Boruc who were suspended after that party following the match against the Urkaine. Given that Smuda does not like players who drink or engage in shenanigans on national duty one would think that Majewski would realise how lucky he was to be a part of the suad again, and yet he complains about not getting enough minutes. No manager worth his salt will select a player with that kind of attitude.

Mund you, I have been savagely critical of Smuda myself and still think that he won't make it to Euro 2012. But at least he has seen the light with regard to team selection, bringing back some experienced guys to give the team a more solid and rounded look and results have been somewhat better than when he took over the side. Clearly though, he has shown himself to be really full of sass and not much substance, and needs to work harder than ever to earn the players' respect and trust.

Not only does Smuda throw out the good players, but he also throws out somebody that has talent and will probably have a great future ahead of him.

Am I the only one that wants Smuda gone? Seriously, he's done nothing good for the kadra anyway, other than mess it up.

I don't see what's so bad about a player wanting to play more.
