France to face off with Poland in Gdansk

WARSAW, Poland. Jan 14 (PSN) — The Polish Football Association (PZPN) has signed a contract with the French federation about a friendly between sides.

With their best teams of both countries, Poland and France will play a friendly on June 9 in Gdansk.

The match will feature the opening of the PGE Arena in Gdansk. The Gdansk stadium, built for the UEFA EURO 2012 will be ready in April.

For the first time this year the kadra will first meet on February 1, to fly out the next day on training camp and for two friendlies - Moldova (February 6) and Norway (February 9) in Portugal.

The next rivals the Bialo-czerwoni will face will be Greece (March 29) and Germany (September 6).

Also facing the French, will Ukraine who will play their match in the capital Kyiv - the French Football Federation has announced.

It is not yet known at what stadium the match will be played at with Ukraine. At the moment the main Olympic stadium in Kyiv is under reconstruction, it is here where the final match will be played the in the UEFA European Championships in 2012.
