LUBIN, Poland. Aug 9 (PSN) - In the absence of Łukasz Piszczek, who was suspended for six months for his involvement in corruption,  Polish national team coach Franciszek Smuda will have a big problem with filling the right-back position.

WojtkowiakIt is likely Smuda will put Grzegorz Wojtkowiak there in the match against Georgia to fill in the gap.

The KKS Lech Poznań defender has played in the right defense for quite some time. It is at this position he also plays sometimes for his club. In the national team Smuda so far only saw him as a stopper.

"I think the coach certainly knows what I can do,"  says Wojtkowiak.

"I played some games at that position. In the club I play as a right back, so I do not have problem with tactics or the setting on the pitch,"

But what if Piszczek will return? After all, the Borussia Dortmund defender is one of the biggest stars of the kadra. The Lechite again will return to the center defense?

This is a temporary solution and could bring more problems than benefits.
