WARSAW, Poland. Aug 29 (PSN) - Marcin Wasilewski has returned the Polish national team after 3 years.

Marcin Wasilewski'Wasyl' suffered an open leg fracture in the 24th minute of the 1-1 Jupiler League draw between Anderlecht and Standard Liège when Liège's Axel Witsel made a challenge.

After a long rehabilitation, Wasilewski made his return on May 8 2010.

Now for the first time again he has a chance to play on the national team.

The Poles will play two friendly matches - first with Mexico in Warsaw on September 2 and four days later with the Germans in Gdansk.

He will replace the injured Łukasz Broz in the Polish roster for the two upcoming friendly matches in September. The Anderlecht Right-back has a chance to again play in the white and red for the first time since August 2009.

Legia Warsaw FC defender Janusz Gol was also called-up as well.
