WARSAW, Poland. Aug 4 (PSN) - Borussia Dortmund's Łukasz Piszczek voluntarily surrendered six months of a disqualification penalty, of which is the result of his participation in the corruption affair that put him in the books of the PZPN Discipline Department.

PiszczekHowever, after a final decision in August it seems that these sanctions may also extend for the Pole in the Bundesliga as well.

"I did not study in detail the disciplinary regulations of UEFA and FIFA, but it seems to me that after a final decision of the Polish Discipline Department, our federation must inform the German federation (DFB)." says Wojciech Petkowicz, a spokesman for the Polish Football Association (PZPN) Disciplinary Department.

"In my opinion - the German federation must respect the disciplinary decision of our federation."

If this happens Piszczek will not play, not only in the international matches for Poland against Georgia, Mexico and Germany, but also throughout the autumn round of the Bundesliga.

Consequently, the Polish defender will have to wait until February next year to play in an official match. The UEFA EURO 2012 tournament in Poland and Ukraine will then be starting four months afterward.
